Co-CEO / Co-Founder
Benjamin Jenkins is a founder of Vorbi and serves as Vorbi’s Co-CEO and Chief Innovator. He is the technological visionary of Vorbi’s cloud as a service platform, overseeing all facets of technical design, development and implementation. He has over 20 years of experience as a virtual CIO, designing complex technology solutions for hundreds of enterprises and organizations spanning a variety of industries. He is a former founder of Ally Technology where he designed a complex cloud platform still in use today. You may call innovation his mission in life.
Co-CEO / Co-Founder
Tim Terrell is Co–CEO and chairman. He is a founder of Vorbi with over 25 years of Senior Executive experience. He leads the Vorbi management team and oversees the business strategy and company direction while aligning with the technology vision of his partner and Co-CEO Ben Jenkins. As a business veteran and lifelong serial entrepreneur, he has founded multiple successful organizations across a multitude of industries, most notably, CapRock Communications, Cirro Energy and Ally Technology.
Tim Bell is President of Vorbi. A seasoned executive with over 25 years of Sales and Marketing management experience, he is responsible for the development and execution of Vorbi’s Sales and Marketing plan. Before joining the Vorbi team, Tim co-Founded and served as Executive Vice President of Cirro Energy, a Texas based Retail Electric Provider. Prior to Cirro Energy, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at CapRock Communications, where he managed the Direct, Indirect and Enterprise Sales Channels as well as CapRock’s marketing and branding strategy.
Executive Vice President of Sales
Tom Sanders is Executive Vice President of Sales. He is responsible for executing Vorbi’s revenue growth plan. He brings more than 15 years of successful national sales and leadership experience spanning enterprise, telecom and public sector industries. He is a veteran of the information technology market and has held key leadership roles in sales and product management, including most recently at Vorbi’s predecessor Ally Technology. Prior to his experience at Ally, Tom served in Senior Sales Executive positions at TW Telecom and XO Communications.
Vice President of Operations & People
Colleen Jenkins is Vice President of Operations & People and is responsible for all business operations and human resource management. She also acts as the Dean of Vorbi University and leads the development of Vorbi’s learning management. She has over 10 years of technology-specific business operations experience. She served as the Director of Operations for Ally Technology and has a diverse background in marketing, operations, learning management, process management and human resources.
Vice President of Finance
Jim Karculias is Vice President of Finance and responsible for all finance, accounting, and risk management activities. He has 20 years of financial experience, performing corporate finance and planning activities with industry experience in technology, telecommunications and electric utilities. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin. He also earned an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
Brian Sherman serves as Vorbi’s General Counsel. With over 18 years of law firm and in-house experience, he oversees all legal matters while advising senior management on complex business transactions, compliance, strategy, and risk mitigation. He has both State and Federal courtroom experience, having successfully litigated cases on behalf of numerous Fortune 500 Companies. Brian’s full service legal practice includes labor and employment, securities, insurance, real estate, healthcare, and corporate governance. He is charged with navigating Vorbi’s legal issues concerning cloud computing, intellectual property, data privacy and security, reseller arrangements, and the negotiation and drafting of technology related contracts.
