Frequently asked questions
In the Beginning
In 2013, Vorbi Inc.’s founding partners launched a Managed Service Provider company. They quickly broke through the barriers to become a FCC carrier, voice provider and cloud hosting company selling virtual desktop, hosted PBX, and cloud services directly to businesses. During this time, the company experienced firsthand the operational pain points and the underwhelming economics of solutions built on commercial hardware and software. After years of consistent revenue growth but underachieving profitability, the company made the risky decision to stop investing in commercial offerings and build from the ground up.
The result is Vorbi’s Hyperconverged Cloud Infrastructure (HCCI™). HCCI is Vorbi’s ultra-dense, proprietary cloud platform that delivers superior economics and scalability. Leveraging some of the best of breed Open Source technology, Vorbi developed the hardware AND software stack in-house, empowering the company to deliver workplace virtualization solutions and cloud computing infrastructure at incredibly competitive rates. By vertically integrating, Vorbi directly controls the solutions end-to-end without third-party interference while retaining the underlying economics that allow the company to commercially disrupt the marketplace. Vorbi is more empowered to continuously enhance the current solutions, launch new solutions, and automate more processes to create operational leverage.
